The scene from Spirited Away is undoubtedly familiar to many, as it has become deeply ingrained in popular culture. Originally, I had depicted this scene using a traditional calligraphy brush, creating a black and white composition.

However, recently, I felt unsatisfied with the piece

and decided to indulge my artistic ambitions by adding color. Employing vibrant hues reminiscent of advertisement illustrations, I aimed to enhance the visual depth and evoke a stronger sense of color. To further elevate the artwork, I drew inspiration from the renowned painter Vincent van Gogh, whose style I greatly admire. I utilized his distinct technique of layering unique blocks of color to define the contours and shapes. Ultimately, this is the final result of my artwork, a fusion of the Spirited Away scene with my personal interpretation, imbued with a touch of Van Gogh's artistic essence.
