This artwork is the second piece in a series of five that I created for a friend, centered around the Winter Soldier. The series was conceived with a total of five pieces, each representing a different aspect of the character. The first piece depicted Bucky's original appearance in Captain America 1 and was rendered using sketching pencils. The second piece, which I am referring to now, portrays the Winter Soldier as seen in Captain America 2 and was created using Zebra brand ballpoint pens.

This artwork was actually completed two years ago, shortly after I met this friend. It was his first commissioned piece from me, and I meticulously worked on it, gradually bringing it to life using the ballpoint pens. It was my first attempt at utilizing ballpoint pens in my artwork, and it opened up new avenues for me to explore techniques and expand my creative thinking.
