Portrait Series
This is my first watercolor painting of Leslie Cheung. I found a photo of him from his CD release on Pinterest, and it captivated me. His every movement truly mesmerizes me.
In terms of painting, I haven't mastered the use of watercolors completely, and there are many areas where the impression lacks clarity or appears murky. It's important to be bold and avoid repeatedly brushing over the same spot, as it may damage the paper and result in a moldy or torn texture. Moreover, overlapping colors can lead to undesirable mixing.
