Stephen Chow___至尊寶《西遊記大結局之仙履奇緣》
Stephen Chow, a household name in Hong Kong, has left a lasting imprint on our minds with his film plots and dialogues, from the 80s to the present day. His every action and word in movies has become ingrained in the hearts of Hong Kong people, and we often find ourselves emulating him. In this piece, I drew inspiration from his iconic scene in "A Chinese Odyssey Part One: Pandora's Box," where his character, the mischievous Monkey King, is reluctantly forced into marriage with the heavenly goddess played by Athena Chu. Using watercolors as my medium of choice, I painted a vivid depiction of the scene where Stephen Chow's character, the irreverent and lovable Monkey King, is caught off guard as he is confronted by a sword-wielding adversary. The vibrant colors and bold brushstrokes capture the essence of the comical and exaggerated situation, bringing to life the humor and wit that Stephen Chow effortlessly portrays.
