This artwork is a commission I received while teaching at my art studio in 2020. The client, whom I had never met before, initially provided me with a simple photograph depicting a bound woman lying down, with a man carrying a camera on his back. The photo was in black and white. The client specifically requested that I focus on the hairstyle of the woman in the painting. With this limited information, I proceeded to create the artwork. Although I am unsure if she liked the final result, the commission fee for this project was truly substantial.
