This artwork is inspired by the manga series called Tokyo Comic Avengers. There is one character in this series that I really like. I decided to incorporate this character into the artwork because he represents the rebellious spirit of the bosozoku, a Japanese art style. To enhance the theme, I surrounded the character with imagery from Kanagawa surf culture. Additionally, my choice to depict the night sky was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting "The Starry Night" to express his love for Japanese ukiyo-e.

To create this artwork, I used two different drawing tools: a paintbrush and a Mac needlepoint pen. Mike needlepoint pens allow me to add fine details with minimal risk of error. The brush, on the other hand, provides a bold and expressive touch, especially in areas where a sense of energy is needed. It also facilitates the application of darker shades and provides greater versatility. However, due to its wider strokes, maintaining accuracy in complex areas is more challenging. In this case, the Mike Needlework Pen comes in handy to ensure accuracy and complete the overall work.

By combining these different elements, I aimed to create visually striking artwork that showcases the fusion of Japanese pop culture, traditional art forms, and influences from famous artists such as Vincent Van Gogh.
